A bubbly dream – fancy floating away and relaxing in a cloud of foam? Then you should try our Super Bubbly Bath!
Super Bubbly Bath

150 ml unperfumed shampoo
15 ml vinegar
5 g bicarbonate of soda
1 ½ tsp baking powder
7 drops pure essential oil of your choice, e.g. vanilla
Instructions
- First, in a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (bicarbonate of soda & baking powder) with the oil.
- Then, add the fragrance oil and shampoo and whisk everything together well.
- Finally, add the vinegar. The mixture will start to fizz up straight away.
Run your bathwater immediately. Once the bottom of the tub is covered, add your Super Bubbly Bath mixture. Get ready for a mountain of bubbles!
Note
This bath treat should be used straight away, as the ingredients react quickly to create the bubbles. It's best to get your bathroom ready beforehand, have all the ingredients to hand, and mix everything together just before you want to get in the bath.
Want to pamper yourself and your skin with a creamy bath? Then we recommend the Creamy Milk Bath!
Creamy Milk Bath
Ingredients
50 ml double cream
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp neutral bubble bath/neutral shampoo
10 drops essential oil of your choice, e.g. jasmine
Instructions
- In a bowl, stir together the cream, oil, and bubble bath/shampoo until you have a smooth mixture.
- Pour the bath treat into the warm bathwater and enjoy.
Instead of olive oil, you can also use 1 tbsp of honey, and the cream can be replaced with 100 ml of milk. After your bath, it's best to just pat your skin dry to keep the nourishing effect of the cream.
To invigorate your senses, you can make a "Herbal Infusion" with rose petals. It nourishes the skin and takes your mind back to summer days.
Rose Petal Infusion
Ingredients
1 handful of dried rose petals
2 litres of hot water
Instructions
- Put the petals in a pot or bowl and pour over 2 litres of hot water.
- Leave the infusion to steep, covered, for 10 minutes, then strain it and add it to a bath with water that's 36-38 degrees Celsius. Bathe in it for up to 15 minutes.
- Afterwards, relax for 30 minutes.
For all these bath treats, you can choose your own essential oils and swap them according to your needs. Each plant has a different effect. Here's a little summary:
- Lavender – balancing & calming
- Vanilla – relaxing & comforting
- Jasmine – deeply relaxing & sensual
- Rose – invigorating & nourishing
- Orange – refreshing & uplifting
- Lemon – zesty & cheering
- Sage – reduces sweating & purifying
